I’ll be modeling in the Cozy Wallet and Sammy Davis Vintage fashion show at Katwalk NYC, and I am just beyond ecstatic. Between the styling and the concept behind the show, it’s seriously going to be awesome.
I visited the Sammy Davis showroom in New York to try on some looks for the show and, well, check me out…
There are two huge reasons why I love vintage fashion. First, because it’s sustainable. Each time we choose thrift boutiques, consignment shops and vintage stores like Sammy’s, we are keeping fierce stuff out of landfills and subsequently sending a message that less clothing needs to be produced. And naturally, the second thing I love about vintage is that you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone wearing something identical.
But want to know the best part? I get to make my runway debut in eco-friendly fashion. Trés apropos!

Now that’s a cute outfit.
I still have a sweater my father wore when he was 19 back in 1970 that I wore when I was a teenager. I’m saving it for my sons. It’s come in and out and in and out of style, but it’s just a classic 60-ish looking sweater.
